第114经 堕落者经
"比丘们,有三种人若不舍弃此行为将堕入恶道、地狱。是哪三种?一是非梵行者却自称行梵行者,二是以无根据的非梵行诽谤纯净修梵行者,三是持此见解者:'欲乐中无过失',因此沉溺于欲乐。比丘们,这三种人若不舍弃此行为将堕入恶道、地狱。"
第115经 难得经
"比丘们,世间有三种人难得出现。是哪三种?如来、阿罗汉、正等正觉者难得出现于世间,如来所说法律的教导者难得出现于世间,知恩报恩的人难得出现于世间。比丘们,这三种人难得出现于世间。"
第116经 不可量经
"比丘们,世间有三种人存在。是哪三种?易测量者、难测量者、不可测量者。
什么是易测量者?在此,某人轻浮、傲慢、浮躁、多言、散乱、失念、不正知、不专注、心散乱、诸根不护。比丘们,此人称为易测量者。
什么是难测量者?在此,某人不轻浮、不傲慢、不浮躁、不多言、不散乱、具念、正知、专注、心一境性、诸根防护。比丘们,此人称为难测量者。
什么是不可测量者?在此,比丘是漏尽的阿罗汉。比丘们,此人称为不可测量者。这三种人存在于世间。"
第117经 不动经
"比丘们,世间有三种人存在。是哪三种?
在此,比丘们,某人完全超越色想,灭除对立想,不作意种种想,思维'虚空无边',证得空无边处而住。他喜爱此境界,欲求此境界,因此而得安乐,安住其中,专注其中,多住于此,命终不退失,往生空无边处天。比丘们,空无边处天的寿命是二万劫。凡夫在那里尽其寿命后,会堕入地狱、畜生道或饿鬼道。但是世尊的弟子在那里尽其寿命后,则在那一生中般涅槃。比丘们,这就是多闻圣弟子与无闻凡夫在趣处、投生方面的差别、殊胜与区分。
再者,比丘们,某人完全超越空无边处,思维'识无边',证得识无边处而住。他喜爱此境界,欲求此境界,因此而得安乐,安住其中,专注其中,多住于此,命终不退失,往生识无边处天。比丘们,识无边处天的寿命是四万劫。凡夫在那里尽其寿命后,会堕入地狱、畜生道或饿鬼道。但是世尊的弟子在那里尽其寿命后,则在那一生中般涅槃。比丘们,这就是多闻圣弟子与无闻凡夫在趣处、投生方面的差别、殊胜与区分。

第118经 失败与成就经
"比丘们,有三种失败。是哪三种?戒失败、心失败、见失败。
什么是戒失败?在此,某人杀生、偷盗、邪淫、妄语、两舌、恶口、绮语。比丘们,这称为戒失败。
什么是心失败?在此,某人贪婪、怀恨。比丘们,这称为心失败。
什么是见失败?在此,某人持邪见,见解颠倒:'无布施,无供养,无祭祀,无善恶业的果报,无此世,无他世,无父,无母,无化生众生,世间无沙门婆罗门正行正道、依自己的证知而宣说此世他世者。'比丘们,这称为见失败。
比丘们,由于戒失败,或由于心失败,或由于见失败,众生身坏命终后往生恶趣、恶道、堕处、地狱。这就是三种失败。
"比丘们,有三种成就。是哪三种?戒成就、心成就、见成就。
什么是戒成就?在此,某人离杀生、离偷盗、离邪淫、离妄语、离两舌、离恶口、离绮语。比丘们,这称为戒成就。
什么是心成就?在此,某人无贪婪、无瞋恨。比丘们,这称为心成就。
什么是见成就?在此,某人持正见,见解不颠倒:'有布施,有供养,有祭祀,有善恶业的果报,有此世,有他世,有父,有母,有化生众生,世间有沙门婆罗门正行正道、依自己的证知而宣说此世他世者。'比丘们,这称为见成就。
比丘们,由于戒成就,或由于心成就,或由于见成就,众生身坏命终后往生善趣、天界。由于见成就,众生身坏命终后往生善趣、天界。比丘们,这就是三种成就。"
