"比丘们,世间存在三种人。是哪三种呢?在这里,比丘们,某些人造作有害的身行,造作有害的口行,造作有害的意行。他们造作了有害的身行、口行和意行后,便生到有害的世界。生到有害世界的他们,会遭受有害的触。遭受有害触的他们,便感受有害的感受,即纯粹的苦,就像地狱众生一样。
"再者,比丘们,某些人造作无害的身行,造作无害的口行,造作无害的意行。他们造作了无害的身行、口行和意行后,便生到无害的世界。生到无害世界的他们,会遭受无害的触。遭受无害触的他们,便感受无害的感受,即纯粹的乐,就像遍净天的天人一样。

24 多所作为经
"比丘们,有三种人对他人多有帮助。是哪三种呢?比丘们,因某人的缘故,一个人皈依了佛、法、僧,这个人对那人多有帮助。
"再者,比丘们,因某人的缘故,一个人如实了知'这是苦',如实了知'这是苦的生起',如实了知'这是苦的止息',如实了知'这是导向苦止息的道路',这个人对那人多有帮助。
"再者,比丘们,因某人的缘故,一个人通过漏尽,在当下证得无漏的心解脱、慧解脱,并安住其中,这个人对那人多有帮助。比丘们,这就是三种对他人多有帮助的人。
"比丘们,我说除了这三种人,没有其他人对此人更有帮助。比丘们,我说此人无法充分报答这三种人的恩情,即使以礼敬、起立、合掌、恭敬行为、供养衣服、饮食、卧具、病人所需药品等物品也不足以报答。"

"比丘们,什么是心如疮的人?在这里,比丘们,某些人易怒,多忧虑,即使被稍微批评也会生气、发怒、恼怒、固执,表现出愤怒、憎恨和不满。比丘们,就像一个坏疮被木头或瓦片碰到就会流出更多脓水一样;同样地,比丘们,某些人易怒,多忧虑,即使被稍微批评也会生气、发怒、恼怒、固执,表现出愤怒、憎恨和不满。比丘们,这被称为心如疮的人。

23. “Tayome, bhikkhave, puggalā santo saṃvijjamānā lokasmiṃ. Katame tayo? Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco puggalo sabyābajjhaṃ kāyasaṅkhāraṃ abhisaṅkharoti, sabyābajjhaṃ vacīsaṅkhāraṃ abhisaṅkharoti, sabyābajjhaṃ manosaṅkhāraṃ abhisaṅkharoti. So sabyābajjhaṃ kāyasaṅkhāraṃ abhisaṅkharitvā, sabyābajjhaṃ vacīsaṅkhāraṃ abhisaṅkharitvā, sabyābajjhaṃ manosaṅkhāraṃ abhisaṅkharitvā sabyābajjhaṃ lokaṃ upapajjati. 24. “Tayome bhikkhave, puggalā puggalassa bahukārā. Katame tayo? Yaṃ, bhikkhave, puggalaṃ āgamma puggalo buddhaṃ saraṇaṃ gato hoti, dhammaṃ saraṇaṃ gato hoti, saṅghaṃ saraṇaṃ gato hoti; ayaṃ, bhikkhave, puggalo imassa puggalassa bahukāro.
“Puna caparaṃ, bhikkhave, yaṃ puggalaṃ āgamma puggalo ‘idaṃ dukkhan’ti yathābhūtaṃ pajānāti, ‘ayaṃ dukkhasamudayo’ti yathābhūtaṃ pajānāti, ‘ayaṃ dukkhanirodho’ti yathābhūtaṃ pajānāti, ‘ayaṃ dukkhanirodhagāminī paṭipadā’ti yathābhūtaṃ pajānāti; ayaṃ, bhikkhave, puggalo imassa puggalassa bahukāro.

“Imehi ca pana, bhikkhave, tīhi puggalehi imassa puggalassa natthañño puggalo bahukāroti vadāmi. Imesaṃ pana, bhikkhave, tiṇṇaṃ puggalānaṃ iminā puggalena na suppatikāraṃ vadāmi, yadidaṃ abhivādanapaccuṭṭhāna-añjalikammasāmīcikammacīvarapiṇḍapātasenāsana -gilānapaccayabhesajja-parikkhārānuppadānenā”ti. Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco puggalo kodhano hoti upāyāsabahulo appampi vutto samāno abhisajjati kuppati byāpajjati patitthīyati kopañca dosañca appaccayañca pātukaroti. Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, duṭṭhāruko kaṭṭhena vā kaṭhalāya vā ghaṭṭito bhiyyosomattāya āsavaṃ deti; evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, idhekacco puggalo kodhano hoti upāyāsabahulo appampi vutto samāno abhisajjati kuppati byāpajjati patitthīyati kopañca dosañca appaccayañca pātukaroti.
