"诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,堕于地狱。哪五法呢?未经审察、未经彻底探究,对不值得称赞者说称赞之语;未经审察、未经彻底探究,对值得称赞者说毁谤之语;有邪语;有邪业;浪费信施(糟蹋信众所布施的供养)。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,堕于地狱。
"诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,生于天界。哪五法呢?经过审察、经过彻底探究,对不值得称赞者说批评之语;经过审察、经过彻底探究,对值得称赞者说称赞之语;有正语;有正业;不浪费信施。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,生于天界。"第九。
120 邪精进经

121 病人经
一时,世尊住在毗舍离大林重阁讲堂。那时,世尊在傍晚时分从独处静坐中起来,前往病房。世尊看见了某位虚弱患病的比丘;看见后,在设好的座位上坐下。坐下后,世尊对诸比丘说:
"诸比丘,任何虚弱患病的比丘,若五法不离弃他,可以期望他:'不久之后,他将以诸漏的灭尽,于现法中自己以超凡智证悟、成就无漏的心解脱、慧解脱而安住。'"
"哪五法呢?诸比丘,在此,比丘于身随观不净而安住;对食物持厌逆想;对一切世间持不乐想;对一切行(诸有为法)随观无常;死想在他内心善加确立。诸比丘,任何虚弱患病的比丘,若此五法不离弃他,可以期望他:'不久之后,他将以诸漏的灭尽……(中略)……证悟、成就而安住。'"第一。
122 正念善确立经
"诸比丘,任何比丘或比丘尼,若修习五法、多修习五法,可以期望他获得两种果位之一:于现法中证得究竟智(阿罗汉果),或者若还有余依(还有残余的烦恼存在),则证得不还果。
"哪五法呢?诸比丘,在此,比丘内在正念善加确立,具有观察诸法生灭的智慧;于身随观不净而安住;对食物持厌逆想;对一切世间持不乐想;对一切行随观无常。诸比丘,任何比丘或比丘尼,若修习此五法、多修习此五法,可以期望他获得两种果位之一:于现法中证得究竟智,或者若还有余依,则证得不还果。"第二。
123 第一看护者经
"诸比丘,具足五法的病人是难以看护的。哪五法呢?做不适宜的事(不做有益于康复的事);对适宜之事不知节制;不服用药物;对善意的看护者不如实说明病情——是在好转就说'在好转',是在恶化就说'在恶化',是没有变化就说'没有变化';对已生起的身体上的痛苦、剧烈、粗重、尖锐、不愉快、不可意、夺命的诸受,不能忍耐。诸比丘,具足此五法的病人是难以看护的。
"诸比丘,具足五法的病人是容易看护的。哪五法呢?做适宜的事(做有益于康复的事);对适宜之事知道节制;服用药物;对善意的看护者如实说明病情——是在好转就说'在好转',是在恶化就说'在恶化',是没有变化就说'没有变化';对已生起的身体上的痛苦、剧烈、粗重、尖锐、不愉快、不可意、夺命的诸受,能够忍耐。诸比丘,具足此五法的病人是容易看护的。"第三。

AN.5.121/ 1. Gilānasuttaṃ
121. Ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā vesāliyaṃ viharati mahāvane kūṭāgārasālāyaṃ. Atha kho bhagavā sāyanhasamayaṃ paṭisallānā vuṭṭhito yena gilānasālā tenupasaṅkami. Addasā kho bhagavā aññataraṃ bhikkhuṃ dubbalaṃ gilānakaṃ; disvā paññatte āsane nisīdi. Nisajja kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi–
“Yaṃ kiñci, bhikkhave, bhikkhuṃ dubbalaṃ gilānakaṃ pañca dhammā na vijahanti, tassetaṃ pāṭikaṅkhaṃ– ‘nacirasseva āsavānaṃ khayā anāsavaṃ cetovimuttiṃ paññāvimuttiṃ diṭṭheva dhamme sayaṃ abhiññā sacchikatvā upasampajja viharissatī’”ti.
“Katame pañca? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu asubhānupassī kāye viharati, āhāre paṭikūlasaññī, sabbaloke anabhiratasaññī, sabbasaṅkhāresu aniccānupassī, maraṇasaññā kho panassa ajjhattaṃ sūpaṭṭhitā hoti.
