113 正定经
"诸比丘,具足五法的比丘,不能够成就正定而安住。哪五种呢?诸比丘,在此,比丘对色不能忍耐,对声不能忍耐,对香不能忍耐,对味不能忍耐,对触不能忍耐。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘,不能够成就正定而安住。
诸比丘,具足五法的比丘,能够成就正定而安住。哪五种呢?诸比丘,在此,比丘对色能忍耐,对声能忍耐,对香能忍耐,对味能忍耐,对触能忍耐。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘,能够成就正定而安住。" 第三。
114 盲暗林经
一时,世尊住在摩揭陀国的盲暗林。那时,尊者阿难前往世尊所在之处;到达之后,礼敬世尊,然后坐于一旁。世尊对坐于一旁的尊者阿难说了如下的话:
"阿难,那些新出家、出家不久、新近来到这法与律中的比丘们,阿难,你应当劝导、安立、建立那些比丘们于五法之中。哪五种呢?
'来吧,诸贤友,你们应当持戒,以波罗提木叉的防护而防护地安住,具足正行与行处,对微细的过失也见到危险,受持学处而修学。'——如此,应当劝导、安立、建立他们于波罗提木叉的防护之中。
'来吧,诸贤友,你们应当守护诸根之门而安住,具备守护的正念、敏锐的正念,善守护其心意,具备有正念守护的心。'——如此,应当劝导、安立、建立他们于诸根的防护之中。
'来吧,诸贤友,你们应当少言语,对言语应当有所节制。'——如此,应当劝导、安立、建立他们于言语的节制之中。
'来吧,诸贤友,你们应当住于森林,应当亲近森林、山林中偏远的住处。'——如此,应当劝导、安立、建立他们于身体的远离之中。
'来吧,诸贤友,你们应当持正见,具足正见。'——如此,应当劝导、安立、建立他们于正见之中。
阿难,那些新出家、出家不久、新近来到这法与律中的比丘们,阿难,你应当劝导、安立、建立那些比丘们于此五法之中。" 第四。
115 悭吝尼经
"诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是堕于地狱。哪五种呢?她对住处悭吝,对施主家悭吝,对利养悭吝,对容色(称赞)悭吝,对法悭吝。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是堕于地狱。
诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是生于天界。哪五种呢?她对住处不悭吝,对施主家不悭吝,对利养不悭吝,对容色(称赞)不悭吝,对法不悭吝。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是生于天界。" 第五。
116 称赞经
"诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是堕于地狱。哪五种呢?不经审察、不经探究,对不值得称赞者说称赞的话;不经审察、不经探究,对值得称赞者说毁谤的话;不经审察、不经探究,对不令人净信之处显示净信;不经审察、不经探究,对令人净信之处显示不净信;浪费以信心所施之物。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是堕于地狱。
诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是生于天界。哪五种呢?经过审察、经过探究,对不值得称赞者说批评的话;经过审察、经过探究,对值得称赞者说称赞的话;经过审察、经过探究,对不令人净信之处显示不净信;经过审察、经过探究,对令人净信之处显示净信;不浪费以信心所施之物。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是生于天界。" 第六。
117 嫉妒尼经
"诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是堕于地狱。哪五种呢?不经审察、不经探究,对不值得称赞者说称赞的话;不经审察、不经探究,对值得称赞者说毁谤的话;她是嫉妒的;她是悭吝的;她浪费以信心所施之物。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是堕于地狱。
诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是生于天界。哪五种呢?经过审察、经过探究,对不值得称赞者说批评的话;经过审察、经过探究,对值得称赞者说称赞的话;她不嫉妒;她不悭吝;她不浪费以信心所施之物。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是生于天界。" 第七。
118 邪见经
"诸比丘,具足五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是堕于地狱。哪五种呢?不经审察、不经探究,对不值得称赞者说称赞的话;不经审察、不经探究,对值得称赞者说毁谤的话;她持邪见;她有邪思惟;她浪费以信心所施之物。诸比丘,具足此五法的比丘尼,如同被搬运放置一般,如是堕于地狱。

114. Ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā magadhesu viharati andhakavinde. Atha kho āyasmā ānando yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkami; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā ekamantaṃ nisīdi. Ekamantaṃ nisinnaṃ kho āyasmantaṃ ānandaṃ bhagavā etadavoca–
“Ye te, ānanda, bhikkhū navā acirapabbajitā adhunāgatā imaṃ dhammavinayaṃ, te vo, ānanda, bhikkhū pañcasu dhammesu samādapetabbā nivesetabbā patiṭṭhāpetabbā Katamesu pañcasu? ‘Etha tumhe, āvuso, sīlavā hotha, pātimokkhasaṃvarasaṃvutā viharatha ācāragocarasampannā aṇumattesu vajjesu bhayadassāvino, samādāya sikkhatha sikkhāpadesū’ti– iti pātimokkhasaṃvare samādapetabbā nivesetabbā patiṭṭhāpetabbā.
“‘Etha tumhe, āvuso, indriyesu guttadvārā viharatha ārakkhasatino nipakkasatino, sārakkhitamānasā satārakkhena cetasā samannāgatā’ti– iti indriyasaṃvare samādapetabbā nivesetabbā patiṭṭhāpetabbā.
