11 未闻法经
"诸比丘,对于前所未闻之法,我证得究竟智慧,宣称已达到完全觉悟。诸比丘,如来具有五种如来之力,以此等力,如来宣称最上位,在众中作狮子吼,转动梵轮。何为五力?信力、惭力、愧力、精进力、慧力。诸比丘,这就是如来的五种力,以此等力,如来宣称最上位,在众中作狮子吼,转动梵轮。"
12 重阁经
"诸比丘,有五种学力。何为五力?信力、惭力、愧力、精进力、慧力。诸比丘,这五种学力中,慧力是最上、最重要、最为关键的。
就如重阁之顶是其最上、最重要、最为关键的部分,同样地,在这五种学力中,慧力是最上、最重要、最为关键的。
因此,诸比丘,应当如此修学:'我们将具足信力这一学力,具足惭力...愧力...精进力...慧力这一学力。'诸比丘,你们应当如此修学。"
13 略说经
"诸比丘,有五力。何为五力?信力、精进力、念力、定力、慧力。诸比丘,这就是五力。"
14 详说经
"诸比丘,有五力。何为五力?信力、精进力、念力、定力、慧力。
何为信力?诸比丘,在此,圣弟子具信心,信仰如来的觉悟:'世尊是阿罗汉、正等正觉者、明行具足、善逝、世间解、无上士、调御丈夫、天人师、佛、世尊。'诸比丘,这称为信力。
何为精进力?诸比丘,在此,圣弟子为断不善法、成就善法而精进,坚定勇猛,不舍善法。诸比丘,这称为精进力。
何为念力?诸比丘,在此,圣弟子具足最上的念力和智慧,能忆念、随念久远之事与言说。诸比丘,这称为念力。
何为定力?诸比丘,在此,圣弟子离欲、离不善法,有寻有伺,由离生喜乐,成就初禅而住;寻伺寂灭,内心清净,心一境性,无寻无伺,由定生喜乐,成就第二禅而住;离喜,住于舍,具念正知,以身受乐,如圣者所说'舍念乐住',成就第三禅而住;断乐断苦,先前的喜忧已灭,不苦不乐,舍念清净,成就第四禅而住。诸比丘,这称为定力。
何为慧力?诸比丘,在此,圣弟子具足观察生灭的智慧,具足圣者的洞察力,能正确导向苦的止息。诸比丘,这称为慧力。诸比丘,这就是五力。"
15 当见经
"诸比丘,有五力。何为五力?信力、精进力、念力、定力、慧力。诸比丘,何处可见信力?在四预流支中可见信力。何处可见精进力?在四正勤中可见精进力。何处可见念力?在四念处中可见念力。何处可见定力?在四禅中可见定力。何处可见慧力?在四圣谛中可见慧力。诸比丘,这就是五力。"
16 再说重阁经
"诸比丘,有五力。何为五力?信力、精进力、念力、定力、慧力。诸比丘,这五力中,慧力是最上、最重要、最为关键的。就如重阁之顶是其最上、最重要、最为关键的部分,同样地,在这五力中,慧力是最上、最重要、最为关键的。"

“Katamañca, bhikkhave, samādhibalaṃ?
