246 卧法经:
"比丘们,这里有四种卧法。是哪四种呢?饿鬼卧法、欲乐者卧法、狮子卧法和如来卧法。
比丘们,什么是饿鬼卧法呢?比丘们,大多数饿鬼都是仰面而卧;比丘们,这就称为饿鬼卧法。
比丘们,什么是欲乐者卧法呢?比丘们,大多数享受欲乐的人都是左侧而卧;比丘们,这就称为欲乐者卧法。
比丘们,什么是狮子卧法呢?比丘们,狮子王以右胁而卧,一足叠于另一足上,将尾巴置于两腿之间。它醒来时,先抬起前身,然后回顾后身。比丘们,如果狮子王看到身体有任何散乱或不整齐之处,它就会不高兴。比丘们,如果狮子王没有看到身体有任何散乱或不整齐之处,它就会感到满意。比丘们,这就称为狮子卧法。
比丘们,什么是如来卧法呢?在此,比丘们,如来远离欲乐......进入并安住于第四禅。比丘们,这就称为如来卧法。比丘们,这就是四种卧法。"这是第四经。
247 塔庙经:
"比丘们,这四种人应当建塔供养。是哪四种呢?如来、应供、正等正觉者应当建塔供养;辟支佛应当建塔供养;如来的弟子应当建塔供养;转轮圣王应当建塔供养。比丘们,这就是四种应当建塔供养的人。"这是第五经。
248 智慧增长经:
"比丘们,这四法能导致智慧增长。是哪四法呢?亲近善士、听闻正法、如理作意、法随法行。比丘们,这四法能导致智慧增长。"这是第六经。
249 多所作益经:
"比丘们,这四法对人类很有益处。是哪四法呢?亲近善士、听闻正法、如理作意、法随法行。比丘们,这四法对人类很有益处。"这是第七经。
250 第一语言经:
"比丘们,这四种是非圣者的语言。是哪四种呢?说未见为已见、说未闻为已闻、说未觉为已觉、说未知为已知。比丘们,这就是四种非圣者的语言。"这是第八经。
251 第二语言经:
"比丘们,这四种是圣者的语言。是哪四种呢?说未见为未见、说未闻为未闻、说未觉为未觉、说未知为未知。比丘们,这就是四种圣者的语言。"这是第九经。
252 第三语言经:
"比丘们,这四种是非圣者的语言。是哪四种呢?说已见为未见、说已闻为未闻、说已觉为未觉、说已知为未知。比丘们,这就是四种非圣者的语言。"这是第十经。
253 第四语言经:
"比丘们,这四种是圣者的语言。是哪四种呢?说已见为已见、说已闻为已闻、说已觉为已觉、说已知为已知。比丘们,这就是四种圣者的语言。"这是第十一经。

五取蕴,比丘们,这些称为应当以证知而遍知的法。
比丘们,什么是应当以证知而断除的法呢?
无明和有爱,比丘们,这些称为应当以证知而断除的法。
比丘们,什么是应当以证知而修习的法呢?
止与观,比丘们,这些称为应当以证知而修习的法。
比丘们,什么是应当以证知而证悟的法呢?
明与解脱,比丘们,这些称为应当以证知而证悟的法。

246. “Catasso imā, bhikkhave, seyyā. Katamā catasso? Petaseyyā, kāmabhogiseyyā sīhaseyyā, tathāgataseyyā. Katamā ca, bhikkhave, petaseyyā? Yebhuyyena, bhikkhave, petā uttānā senti; ayaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, petaseyyā.
“Katamā ca, bhikkhave, kāmabhogiseyyā? Yebhuyyena, bhikkhave, kāmabhogī vāmena passena senti; ayaṃ vuccati, bhikkhave, kāmabhogiseyyā.
“Katamā ca, bhikkhave, sīhaseyyā? Sīho bhikkhave, migarājā dakkhiṇena passena seyyaṃ kappeti, pāde pādaṃ accādhāya, antarasatthimhi naṅguṭṭhaṃ anupakkhipitvā.
