“比丘们啊,有这四种人存在于世间。是哪四种呢?有罪者、多罪者、少罪者、无罪者。
“比丘们啊,什么样的人是有罪者呢?比丘们啊,在这里,有某个人具备有罪的身行、具备有罪的口行、具备有罪的意行。比丘们啊,这样的人就是有罪者。
“比丘们啊,什么样的人是多罪者呢?比丘们啊,在这里,有某个人大多具备有罪的身行,少有无罪;大多具备有罪的口行,少有无罪;大多具备有罪的意行,少有无罪。比丘们啊,这样的人就是多罪者。
“比丘们啊,什么样的人是少罪者呢?比丘们啊,在这里,有某个人大多具备无罪的身行,少有有罪;大多具备无罪的口行,少有有罪;大多具备无罪的意行,少有有罪。比丘们啊,这样的人就是少罪者。
“比丘们啊,什么样的人是无罪者呢?比丘们啊,在这里,有某个人具备无罪的身行、具备无罪的口行、具备无罪的意行。比丘们啊,这样的人就是无罪者。比丘们啊,这四种人存在于世间。”第五。

“比丘们啊,有这四种人存在于世间。是哪四种呢?比丘们啊,在这里,有某个人不尊重戒、不以戒为首要,不尊重定、不以定为首要,不尊重慧、不以慧为首要。

“比丘们啊,有这四种人存在于世间。是哪四种呢?身隐居而心不隐居、身不隐居而心隐居、身不隐居心也不隐居、身隐居心也隐居。
“比丘们啊,什么样的人是身隐居而心不隐居呢?比丘们啊,在这里,有某个人受用远离的、僻静的林野住处。在那里,他思惟欲寻、思惟瞋恚寻、思惟害寻。比丘们啊,这样的人就是身隐居而心不隐居。
“比丘们啊,什么样的人是身不隐居而心隐居呢?比丘们啊,在这里,有某个人不受用远离的、僻静的林野住处。在那里,他思惟出离寻、思惟无瞋寻、思惟无害寻。比丘们啊,这样的人就是身不隐居而心隐居。
“比丘们啊,什么样的人是身不隐居心也不隐居呢?比丘们啊,在这里,有某个人不受用远离的、僻静的林野住处。在那里,他思惟欲寻、思惟瞋恚寻、思惟害寻。比丘们啊,这样的人就是身不隐居心也不隐居。
