"比丘们,具足四法的比丘,必定走在无过失道上,为断尽诸漏而精进。是哪四法?在此,比丘持戒清净、多闻博学、精进不懈、具有智慧。比丘们,具足这四法的比丘,必定走在无过失道上,为断尽诸漏而精进。"
72 正见经
"比丘们,具足四法的比丘,必定走在无过失道上,为断尽诸漏而精进。是哪四法?出离寻、无恨寻、无害寻、正见。比丘们,具足这四法的比丘,必定走在无过失道上,为断尽诸漏而精进。"
73. 善人经
"比丘们,具备四种法的人应被视为不善人。哪四种呢?在此,比丘们,不善人即使没有被问到,也会说出他人的过失,更不用说被问到时了!当被问到时,他会顺着问题,不加掩饰,详细而全面地说出他人的过失。比丘们,应当知道这是不善人。
再者,比丘们,不善人即使被问到,也不会说出他人的优点,更不用说没被问到时了!当被问到时,他会避开问题,简略而不全面地说出他人的优点。比丘们,应当知道这是不善人。

比丘们,就像新娘无论是在夜晚还是白天被带到新家时,她会对婆婆、公公、丈夫,乃至仆人和工人都怀有强烈的羞耻心和畏惧心。但过了一段时间,由于共同生活和亲密相处,她甚至会对婆婆、公公和丈夫说:'走开,你们懂什么!'同样地,比丘们,有些比丘无论是在夜晚还是白天从俗家生活出家时,他会对比丘、比丘尼、优婆塞、优婆夷,乃至寺院的杂役和沙弥都怀有强烈的羞耻心和畏惧心。但过了一段时间,由于共同生活和亲密相处,他甚至会对老师和戒师说:'走开,你们懂什么!'因此,比丘们,你们应当这样学习:'我们要保持如同刚来的新娘那样的心态。'比丘们,你们应当这样学习。"

"比丘们,有四种优越。哪四种?持戒的优越、定力的优越、智慧的优越、解脱的优越。这四种是优越。"
75 第二优越经
"比丘们,有四种优越。哪四种?色的优越、受的优越、想的优越、存在的优越。这四种是优越。"
76. 拘尸那罗经
“一次,世尊在拘尸那罗城,住在末罗族的娑罗树林中,正值他即将入涅槃之际。在那里,世尊召集比丘们说:“比丘们。”比丘们回答说:“尊者。”世尊接着说:
“比丘们,若有任何一位比丘对佛、法、僧、道或修行方法有任何疑惑或迷惑,请问吧。不要在之后后悔地想:‘导师就在我们面前,但我们却没有当面请教他。’”说完这话,那些比丘保持沉默。
世尊第二次对比丘们说:“比丘们,若有任何一位比丘对佛、法、僧、道或修行方法有任何疑惑或迷惑,请问吧。不要在之后后悔地想:‘导师就在我们面前,但我们却没有当面请教他。’”第二次,那些比丘仍然保持沉默。
世尊第三次对比丘们说:“比丘们,若有任何一位比丘对佛、法、僧、道或修行方法有任何疑惑或迷惑,请问吧。不要在之后后悔地想:‘导师就在我们面前,但我们却没有当面请教他。’”第三次,那些比丘依然保持沉默。
然后,世尊对比丘们说:“比丘们,或许你们因为对导师的恭敬而不敢发问。那么请告诉你的同伴吧。”说完这话,那些比丘仍然保持沉默。
这时,尊者阿难对世尊说:“尊者,真是奇妙啊!我深信在这比丘僧团中,没有任何一位比丘对佛、法、僧、道或修行方法有任何疑惑或迷惑。”
“阿难,你说得对。阿难,确实如来知道:在这比丘僧团中,确实没有任何一位比丘对佛、法、僧、道或修行方法有任何疑惑或迷惑。在这五百位比丘中,即使是最后一位比丘也已证得预流果,必不堕恶趣,决定趣向正觉。”
第六经终。
77. 不可思议经
"诸比丘,有四种不可思议之事,不应思议;若思议此等之事,将导致疯狂与痛苦。是何四事?
诸比丘,诸佛的佛境界是不可思议的,不应思议;若思议此事,将导致疯狂与痛苦。
诸比丘,禅修者的禅定境界是不可思议的,不应思议;若思议此事,将导致疯狂与痛苦。
诸比丘,业的果报是不可思议的,不应思议;若思议此事,将导致疯狂与痛苦。
诸比丘,世间的思虑是不可思议的,不应思议;若思议此事,将导致疯狂与痛苦。
诸比丘,此即为四种不可思议之事,不应思议;若思议此等之事,将导致疯狂与痛苦。"
78. 布施经
"诸比丘,有四种布施的清净。何为四种?
诸比丘,有布施是从施者方面清净,而非从受者方面;
诸比丘,有布施是从受者方面清净,而非从施者方面;
诸比丘,有布施既非从施者方面清净,亦非从受者方面清净;
诸比丘,有布施既从施者方面清净,亦从受者方面清净。
诸比丘,何时布施从施者方面清净,而非从受者方面?在此,施者持戒具善法,而受者破戒行恶法。如是,诸比丘,此布施从施者方面清净,而非从受者方面。
诸比丘,何时布施从受者方面清净,而非从施者方面?在此,施者破戒行恶法,而受者持戒具善法。如是,诸比丘,此布施从受者方面清净,而非从施者方面。
诸比丘,何时布施既非从施者方面清净,亦非从受者方面清净?在此,施者破戒行恶法,受者亦破戒行恶法。如是,诸比丘,此布施既非从施者方面清净,亦非从受者方面清净。
诸比丘,何时布施既从施者方面清净,亦从受者方面清净?在此,施者持戒具善法,受者亦持戒具善法。如是,诸比丘,此布施既从施者方面清净,亦从受者方面清净。
诸比丘,此即为四种布施的清净。"

Sā aparena samayena saṃvāsamanvāya vissāsamanvāya sassumpi sasurampi sāmikampi evamāha– ‘apetha, kiṃ pana tumhe jānāthā’ti! Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, idhekacco bhikkhu yaññadeva rattiṃ vā divaṃ vā agārasmā anagāriyaṃ pabbajito hoti, tāvadevassa tibbaṃ hirottappaṃ paccupaṭṭhitaṃ hoti bhikkhūsu bhikkhunīsu upāsakesu upāsikāsu antamaso ārāmikasamaṇuddesesu. So aparena samayena saṃvāsamanvāya vissāsamanvāya ācariyampi upajjhāyampi evamāha– ‘apetha, kiṃ pana tumhe jānāthā’ti! 76. Ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā kusinārāyaṃ viharati upavattane mallānaṃ sālavane antarena yamakasālānaṃ parinibbānasamaye. Tatra kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi– “bhikkhavo”ti. “Bhadante”ti te bhikkhū bhagavato paccassosuṃ. Bhagavā etadavoca–
“Siyā kho pana, bhikkhave, ekabhikkhussapi kaṅkhā vā vimati vā buddhe vā dhamme vā saṅghe vā magge vā paṭipadāya vā, pucchatha, bhikkhave, mā pacchā vippaṭisārino ahuvattha– ‘sammukhībhūto no satthā ahosi, nāsakkhimha bhagavantaṃ sammukhā paṭipucchitun’”ti. Evaṃ vutte te bhikkhū tuṇhī ahesuṃ. “Pasādā kho tvaṃ, ānanda, vadesi. Ñāṇameva hettha, ānanda, tathāgatassa– ‘natthi imasmiṃ bhikkhusaṅghe ekabhikkhussapi kaṅkhā vā vimati vā buddhe vā dhamme vā saṅghe vā magge vā paṭipadāya vā’. 77. “Cattārimāni, bhikkhave, acinteyyāni, na cintetabbāni; yāni cintento ummādassa vighātassa bhāgī assa. Katamāni cattāri? Buddhānaṃ, bhikkhave, buddhavisayo acinteyyo, na cintetabbo; yaṃ cintento ummādassa vighātassa bhāgī assa. Jhāyissa, bhikkhave, jhānavisayo acinteyyo, na cintetabbo; yaṃ cintento ummādassa vighātassa bhāgī assa. Atthi, bhikkhave, dakkhiṇā dāyakato visujjhati, no paṭiggāhakato; atthi, bhikkhave, dakkhiṇā paṭiggāhakato visujjhati, no dāyakato; atthi, bhikkhave, dakkhiṇā neva dāyakato visujjhati, no paṭiggāhakato; atthi, bhikkhave, dakkhiṇā dāyakato ceva visujjhati paṭiggāhakato ca.
