71 老死经
如是我闻:一时,世尊住舍卫城祇树给孤独园。在那里,世尊......"诸比丘,任何沙门或婆罗门不了知老死,不了知老死集,不了知老死灭,不了知导向老死灭的道路,诸比丘,我不认为他们是沙门中的沙门,或婆罗门中的婆罗门。这些尊者们也没有通过自己的直接知识在现法中实现、证得并安住于沙门果或婆罗门果。
"诸比丘,任何沙门或婆罗门了知老死...了知导向老死灭的道路,诸比丘,我认为他们是沙门中的沙门,婆罗门中的婆罗门。这些尊者们已经通过自己的直接知识在现法中实现、证得并安住于沙门果和婆罗门果。" (这是第一经)
