16 第二·乐味遍求经(第四经)
"比丘们,我曾经去遍求色(色尘)的乐味。色的乐味是什么,我就证得了那个。色的乐味到什么程度,以智慧我已善见了。
比丘们,我曾经去遍求色的过患。色的过患是什么,我就证得了那个。色的过患到什么程度,以智慧我已善见了。
比丘们,我曾经去遍求色的出离。色的出离是什么,我就证得了那个。色的出离到什么程度,以智慧我已善见了。
比丘们,我曾经遍求声的(乐味、过患、出离)……(中略)比丘们,我曾经遍求香的……(中略)比丘们,我曾经遍求味的……(中略)比丘们,我曾经遍求触的……(中略)
比丘们,我曾经去遍求法(法尘)的乐味。法的乐味是什么,我就证得了那个。法的乐味到什么程度,以智慧我已善见了。
比丘们,我曾经去遍求法的过患。法的过患是什么,我就证得了那个。法的过患到什么程度,以智慧我已善见了。
比丘们,我曾经去遍求法的出离。法的出离是什么,我就证得了那个。法的出离到什么程度,以智慧我已善见了。
比丘们,只要我对这六种外处(即色、声、香、味、触、法),没有如实地了知乐味为乐味、过患为过患、出离为出离……(中略)……(但当我如实了知之后,)我就证知了。我的智见生起了——'我的解脱不可动摇,这是最后一生,不再有来世的存在了。'"

17 第一·若无乐味经(第五经)
"比丘们,如果眼没有乐味的话,众生就不会对眼贪染。正因为,比丘们,眼有乐味,所以众生对眼贪染。
比丘们,如果眼没有过患的话,众生就不会对眼厌离。正因为,比丘们,眼有过患,所以众生对眼厌离。
比丘们,如果眼没有出离的话,众生就不能从眼出离。正因为,比丘们,眼有出离,所以众生能从眼出离。
比丘们,如果耳没有乐味的话……(中略)比丘们,如果鼻没有乐味的话……(中略)
比丘们,如果舌没有乐味的话,众生就不会对舌贪染。正因为,比丘们,舌有乐味,所以众生对舌贪染。

但是,比丘们,当众生对这六种内处,如实地了知乐味为乐味、过患为过患、出离为出离之时,那么,比丘们,众生就能从包含天、魔、梵的世界,包含沙门、婆罗门的人众,包含天与人的众生中,出离、解缚、解脱,以无限制的心而安住。"
