7 预流经
舍卫城因缘。世尊对坐在一旁的尊者罗陀说:"罗陀,有五种取蕴。哪五种?色取蕴……(中略)……识取蕴。罗陀,当一位圣弟子如实了知这五取蕴的生起、灭没、味、患、离,这位圣弟子被称为预流者,不堕恶趣,必定证悟,趋向正觉。"第七经。
8 阿罗汉经
舍卫城因缘。世尊对坐在一旁的尊者罗陀说:"罗陀,有五种取蕴。哪五种?色取蕴……(中略)……识取蕴。罗陀,当比丘如实了知这五取蕴的生起、灭没、味、患、离,而无取解脱,这被称为阿罗汉,漏尽,梵行已立,所作已办,舍下重担,达到自己的目标,尽诸有结,正智解脱。"第八经。
9 欲贪经
舍卫城因缘。世尊对坐在一旁的尊者罗陀说:"罗陀,对色的欲、贪、喜、爱,你应当断除。如此,色就会被断除,根被切断,如断棕榈树,成为非有,未来不再生起。对受的欲、贪、喜、爱,你应当断除。如此,受就会被断除,根被切断,如断棕榈树,成为非有,未来不再生起。对想……对行的欲、贪、喜、爱,你应当断除。如此,行就会被断除,根被切断,如断棕榈树,成为非有,未来不再生起。对识的欲、贪、喜、爱,你应当断除。如此,识就会被断除……(中略)……未来不再生起。"第九经。
10 第二欲贪经
舍卫城因缘。世尊对坐在一旁的尊者罗陀说:"罗陀,对色的欲、贪、喜、爱,心的执取、依靠、固执、沉迷、随眠,你应当断除。如此,色就会被断除,根被切断,如断棕榈树,成为非有,未来不再生起。对受的欲、贪、喜、爱,心的执取、依靠、固执、沉迷、随眠,你应当断除。如此,受就会被断除,根被切断,如断棕榈树,成为非有,未来不再生起。对想……对行的欲、贪、喜、爱,心的执取、依靠、固执、沉迷、随眠,你应当断除。如此,行就会被断除,根被切断,如断棕榈树,成为非有,未来不再生起。对识的欲、贪、喜、爱,心的执取、依靠、固执、沉迷、随眠,你应当断除。如此,识就会被断除,根被切断,如断棕榈树,成为非有,未来不再生起。"第十经。

舍卫城因缘。坐在一旁的尊者罗陀对世尊说:"大德,人们谈论'魔,魔',什么是魔呢,大德?"
"罗陀,色是魔,受是魔,想是魔,行是魔,识是魔。罗陀,多闻圣弟子这样观察,就会厌离色,厌离受,厌离想,厌离行,厌离识。由于厌离而离贪,由于离贪而解脱,解脱时生起'已解脱'的智,他了知:'生已尽,梵行已立,所作已办,不受后有。'"第一经。
12 魔法经

Katamo nu kho, bhante, māro”ti? “Rūpaṃ kho, rādha, māro, vedanā māro, saññā māro, saṅkhārā māro, viññāṇaṃ māro. Evaṃ passaṃ, rādha, sutavā ariyasāvako rūpasmimpi nibbindati, vedanāyapi nibbindati, saññāyapi nibbindati, saṅkhāresupi nibbindati, viññāṇasmimpi nibbindati. Nibbindaṃ virajjati; virāgā vimuccati.
