比丘们,什么是不善人?在此,某人不具信仰,无惭,无愧,少闻,懈怠,失念,愚钝。比丘们,这就是所谓的不善人。
比丘们,什么是比不善人更不善的人?在此,某人不仅自己不具信仰,还教唆他人不信;自己无惭,还教唆他人无惭;自己无愧,还教唆他人无愧;自己少闻,还教唆他人少闻;自己懈怠,还教唆他人懈怠;自己失念,还教唆他人失念;自己愚钝,还教唆他人愚钝。比丘们,这就是所谓的比不善人更不善的人。
比丘们,什么是善人?在此,某人具有信仰,有惭,有愧,多闻,精进,具念,有智慧。比丘们,这就是所谓的善人。
比丘们,什么是比善人更善的人?在此,某人不仅自己具足信仰,还教导他人具足信仰;自己有惭,还教导他人有惭;自己有愧,还教导他人有愧;自己多闻,还教导他人多闻;自己精进,还教导他人精进;自己具念,还教导他人具念;自己具足智慧,还教导他人具足智慧。比丘们,这就是所谓的比善人更善的人。"

比丘们,什么是善人?在此,某人离杀生,离偷盗,离邪淫,离妄语,离两舌,离恶口,离绮语。比丘们,这就是所谓的善人。

“Katamo ca, bhikkhave, asappurisena asappurisataro?
