17 姐妹经
在舍卫城……"比丘们,很难找到一个众生在漫长的轮回中不曾做过你的姐妹……足以令人厌离解脱。"这是第七经。
18 儿子经
在舍卫城……"比丘们,很难找到一个众生在漫长的轮回中不曾做过你的儿子……足以令人厌离解脱。"这是第八经。
19 女儿经
在舍卫城……"比丘们,这轮回是无始的。过去的起点不可知,因无明的障碍,众生因渴爱而流转于轮回。比丘们,很难找到一个众生在这漫长的时间里不曾做过你的女儿。为什么呢?因为这轮回是无始的,过去的起点不可知,因无明的障碍,众生因渴爱而流转于轮回。比丘们,你们在如此长久的时间里经历了痛苦、剧苦、灾难,像尸骨堆积如山。比丘们,这足以令人对一切行厌离,足以离欲,足以解脱。"这是第九经。
20 毗富罗山经
一时,世尊住在王舍城的耆阇崛山。在那里,世尊对比丘们说:"比丘们。"比丘们回答:"尊者。"世尊如是说:
"比丘们,这轮回是无始的。过去的起点不可知,因无明的障碍,众生因渴爱而流转于轮回。比丘们,从前这座毗富罗山被称为'东竹山'。那时,人们被称为'提婆拉人'。提婆拉人的寿命是四万岁。提婆拉人需要四天才能登上东竹山,需要四天才能下山。
那时,拘楼孙佛出现于世,是阿罗汉、正等正觉者。拘楼孙佛有一对最胜的弟子,名为维杜拉和桑吉瓦。看哪,比丘们,这座山的名字已经改变,那些人已经死去,那位佛陀也已入灭。比丘们,诸行如是无常,诸行如是不坚固,诸行如是不可依靠。比丘们,这足以令人对一切行厌离,足以离欲,足以解脱。
"过去这座毗富罗山被称为'弯山'。那时,人们被称为'罗希人'。罗希人的寿命是三万岁。罗希人需要三天才能登上弯山,需要三天才能下山。
那时,拘那含牟尼佛出现于世,是阿罗汉、正等正觉者。拘那含牟尼佛有一对最胜的弟子,名为毗耶和郁多罗。看哪,比丘们,这座山的名字已经改变,那些人已经死去,那位佛陀也已入灭。比丘们,诸行如是无常,诸行如是不坚固,诸行如是不可依靠。比丘们,这足以令人对一切行厌离,足以离欲,足以解脱。
"过去这座毗富罗山被称为'善山'。那时,人们被称为'善见人'。善见人的寿命是二万岁。善见人需要二天才能登上善山,需要二天才能下山。
那时,迦叶佛出现于世,是阿罗汉、正等正觉者。迦叶佛有一对最胜的弟子,名为提沙和婆罗德瓦阇。看哪,比丘们,这座山的名字已经改变,那些人已经死去,那位佛陀也已入灭。比丘们,诸行如是无常,诸行如是不坚固,诸行如是不可依靠。比丘们,这足以令人对一切行厌离,足以离欲,足以解脱。
"现在,比丘们,这座毗富罗山被称为'伟山'。现在,这些人被称为'摩揭陀人'。摩揭陀人的寿命很短,活得不久;那些活得久的也不过百岁或稍多。摩揭陀人可以在一瞬间登上伟山,也可以在一瞬间下山。
现在,我,世尊,已在世上出现,是阿罗汉、正等正觉者。我的顶尖弟子是舍利弗和目犍连。那时,那个时候,这座山的名字将会消失,那些人将会死亡,我也将会入灭。比丘们,诸行如是无常,诸行如是不坚固,诸行如是不可依靠。比丘们,这足以令人对一切行厌离,足以离欲,足以解脱。"
世尊说完后,又用偈颂总结道:
"东竹属提婆拉人,宛迦属罗希达人,
善见属须毗耶人,毗富罗属摩揭陀。
诸行实是无常法,有生必有灭坏性,
生已终归于灭尽,寂灭乃是真安乐。"
这是第十经。

“Anamataggoyaṃ, bhikkhave, saṃsāro. Pubbā koṭi na paññāyati avijjānīvaraṇānaṃ sattānaṃ taṇhāsaṃyojanānaṃ sandhāvataṃ saṃsarataṃ. Māgadhakānaṃ, bhikkhave, manussānaṃ appakaṃ āyuppamāṇaṃ parittaṃ lahukaṃ; yo ciraṃ jīvati so vassasataṃ appaṃ vā bhiyyo. Māgadhakā, bhikkhave, manussā vepullaṃ pabbataṃ muhuttena ārohanti muhuttena orohanti. Etarahi kho panāhaṃ, bhikkhave, arahaṃ sammāsambuddho loke uppanno. Mayhaṃ kho pana, bhikkhave, sāriputtamoggallānaṃ nāma sāvakayugaṃ aggaṃ bhaddayugaṃ. Bhavissati, bhikkhave, so samayo yā ayañcevimassa pabbatassa samaññā antaradhāyissati, ime ca manussā kālaṃ karissanti, ahañca parinibbāyissāmi. Idamavoca bhagavā. Idaṃ vatvāna sugato athāparaṃ etadavoca satthā–
“Pācīnavaṃso tivarānaṃ, rohitassāna vaṅkako;
Suppiyānaṃ supassoti, māgadhānañca vepullo.
“Aniccā vata saṅkhārā, uppādavayadhammino;
Uppajjitvā nirujjhanti, tesaṃ vūpasamo sukho”ti. Dasamaṃ.
