"比丘们,具备三种品质的优秀骏马,堪称国王所用,为国王所有,被视为国王的一部分。哪三种呢?在此,比丘们,国王的优秀骏马具备色相、力量和速度。比丘们,具备这三种品质的优秀骏马,堪称国王所用,为国王所有,被视为国王的一部分。同样地,比丘们,具备三法的比丘值得供养、值得款待、值得布施、值得合掌礼敬,是世间无上的福田。哪三法呢?在此,比丘们,比丘具备色相、力量和速度。


"比丘们,什么是比丘具备色相?在此,比丘们,比丘持戒,遵守波罗提木叉的约束,具足正行与行处,对微小的过失也见到危险,受持学处而学习。比丘们,这就是比丘具备色相。


"比丘们,什么是比丘具备力量?在此,比丘们,比丘精进努力,为断除不善法、成就善法而坚定、勇猛、不舍重担。比丘们,这就是比丘具备力量。


"比丘们,什么是比丘具备速度?在此,比丘们,比丘由于诸漏已尽,无漏心解脱、慧解脱,于现法中自知自证,具足安住。比丘们,这就是比丘具备速度。比丘们,具备这三法的比丘值得供养...是世间无上的福田。"


100.羊毛布经


"比丘们,新的羊毛布料丑陋、触感不好、价值低廉;中等的羊毛布料丑陋、触感不好、价值低廉;陈旧的羊毛布料丑陋、触感不好、价值低廉。比丘们,人们用陈旧的羊毛布料擦锅或将它丢弃在垃圾堆中。


"同样地,比丘们,如果一位新比丘不持戒、品行恶劣,我说这是他的丑陋。比丘们,正如那羊毛布料丑陋,我说这个人也是如此。那些亲近、追随、依止他的人,长期会遭受损害和痛苦。我说这是他的触感不好。比丘们,正如那羊毛布料触感不好,我说这个人也是如此。他从他人那里接受衣服、饮食、住处、医药等用品,这些供养的果报不大、利益不大。我说这是他的价值低廉。比丘们,正如那羊毛布料价值低廉,我说这个人也是如此。中等的比丘...乃至...长老比丘如果不持戒、品行恶劣,我说这是他的丑陋。比丘们,正如那羊毛布料丑陋,我说这个人也是如此。那些亲近、追随、依止他的人,长期会遭受损害和痛苦。我说这是他的触感不好。比丘们,正如那羊毛布料触感不好,我说这个人也是如此。他从他人那里接受衣服、饮食、住处、医药等用品,这些供养的果报不大、利益不大。我说这是他的价值低廉。比丘们,正如那羊毛布料价值低廉,我说这个人也是如此。


"比丘们,像这样的长老比丘在僧团中说话时,其他比丘会这样说:'你这个愚蠢无知的人说什么?你以为你也配说话吗?'他因此生气、不悦,说出一些话,因为这些话僧团将他摈出,就像把那块羊毛布料丢弃在垃圾堆中一样。


"比丘们,新的迦尸布料美丽、触感柔软、价值高昂;中等的迦尸布料美丽、触感柔软、价值高昂;陈旧的迦尸布料美丽、触感柔软、价值高昂。比丘们,人们用陈旧的迦尸布料包裹珍宝或将它放入香盒中。

"比丘们,像这样的长老比丘在僧团中说话时,其他比丘会这样说:'请大德们安静,这位长老比丘正在宣说法和律。'因此,比丘们,你们应当这样学习:'我们要像迦尸布料那样,而不要像羊毛布料那样。'比丘们,你们应当这样学习。"


101. 盐块经


"比丘们,如果有人这样说:'一个人造什么业,就会感受什么果报',如果是这样,那么就没有修行梵行的机会,也看不到彻底终结苦的机会。但是,比丘们,如果有人这样说:'一个人造了应该感受的业,他就会感受相应的果报',如果是这样,那么就有修行梵行的机会,也能看到彻底终结苦的机会。在此,比丘们,有些人造了微小的恶业,那恶业会导致他堕入地狱。而在此,比丘们,有些人造了同样微小的恶业,那恶业只在现世感受果报,连一点点也不会在来世显现,更不用说大量的果报了。

Idha bhikkhave, rañño bhadro assājānīyo vaṇṇasampanno ca hoti balasampanno ca javasampanno ca. Imehi kho, bhikkhave, tīhi aṅgehi samannāgato rañño bhadro assājānīyo rājāraho hoti rājabhoggo, rañño aṅganteva saṅkhyaṃ gacchati. Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, tīhi dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu āhuneyyo hoti pāhuneyyo dakkhiṇeyyo añjalikaraṇīyo anuttaraṃ puññakkhettaṃ lokassa. Katamehi tīhi? Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco puggalo abhāvitakāyo hoti abhāvitasīlo abhāvitacitto abhāvitapañño paritto appātumo appadukkhavihārī. Evarūpassa, bhikkhave, puggalassa tādisaṃyeva appamattakaṃ pāpakammaṃ kataṃ tamenaṃ nirayaṃ upaneti.

Aññadatthu pañjalikova naṃ yācati– ‘dehi me, mārisa, urabbhaṃ vā urabbhadhanaṃ vā’ti. Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, idhekaccassa puggalassa tādisaṃyeva appamattakampi pāpakammaṃ kataṃ tamenaṃ nirayaṃ upaneti. Idha pana, bhikkhave, ekaccassa puggalassa tādisaṃyeva appamattakaṃ pāpakammaṃ kataṃ diṭṭhadhammavedanīyaṃ hoti, nāṇupi khāyati, kiṃ bahudeva.
